If payment was not received by the 10th a $10 Late Fee charge will be added. Please remember that both studios now have a flat- rate monthly tuition - you will owe the same amount each month, regardless if you don't receive an invoice. Let me know if I ever over-look credits for referrals or missed classes/lessons or if you have questions concerning your invoice. We now accept debit/credit cards! A 3% transaction fee will be added. New Adult Clogging Class for beginners-intermediate, will be at Springfield studio on Wednesday 8-9:00 and Wednesday 6:30-7:30 at LaVergne studio. LaVergne Square Dance Class will be on Sunday, February 26th at 2:00-4:00 PM NEW CLASS OFFERINGS: *Homeschool Clogging & Music Class - COMING SOON! Clogging/Square Dance Class Will be on Thursdays 11:00-12:00 and the monthly fee will be $30. Music Class will be 12:00-1:00 for $30/month or $45 for both classes! Help us spread the word! *Adult Clogging Class* Springfield- Wednesdays 8:00-9:00 for beginners & intermediate students. Enroll now and receive 1/2 off pricing ($25/mo) for those who have a child enrolled in any class or lesson! Come join us for some fun & good exercise! If it continues to grow, we may split the class & offer it two-days per week! *Brass & Woodwind* Springfield Daniel Rushing, a music teacher in the Robertson County School system, will offer private lessons on Monday, Friday & Saturday. We will arrange for instrument rental if needed. All ages/levels are welcome! Please help us spread the word & welcome Daniel. *Group Vocal Class* Springfield - Coming Soon! Class Suggestions...is there a particular class you would like to have offered at The Main Stage? We'd love to know, because we want to serve you better! MARK YOUR CALENDARS! (Monthly Showcases & JAMS will be scheduled - and various classes will be showcased) LaVergne JAM/Showcase will be held on Friday, February 24th at 7:00- 9:00. Admission: $5 - Students FREE! Everyone Invited...all students (both studios) are strongly encouraged to attend. Bring your instruments & dancing shoes and enjoy a fun evening of music & dancing! Now offering "Specialized" Monthly Workshops! We will offer affordable workshops for competition prep, mc & staging, advance musicianship, theory & note reading, ensembles, precision, and more! Professional, guest-instructors will be invited in to share their expertise. Additional fees will apply. February 19th we will offer another "Encore" workshop for solo dancers. (Springfield Studio) with guest, Clyde Richardson, lead Opry dancer & ACHF official judge. This workshop will benefit anyone interested in competition dancing. You do not have to be registered for Encore to come to this workshop! All levels welcome! Smoky Mountain Encore will be held March 15-17, 2012 in Gatlinburg. This event features clogging & hip-hop workshops, taught by top instructors, seminars and a CCA Qualified competition. Please go to www.smokymountainencore.com for more information. Encore Lodging -Cheryl has booked a room at the Glenstone Lodge at 504 Historic Nature Trail Road, Gatlinburg. She asked that rooms be blocked-off for The Main Stage. Don't forget to send in your workshop registration before February 29th to save $5. March 16th & 17th: State of Tennessee Old Time Fiddlers Championship will be held at Rossview High School in Clarksville, TN. Little Bands (LaVergne) Schedule for the New Year: Grasshoppers: 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month Tator Tots/Tadpoles: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month No Band Classes will be held on any 5th Tuesdays LOOKING AHEAD...Summer '2012: We are looking into the possibility of offering a local summer residential/day-camp music & dance camp in the Robertson County area. Gail will also host the annual Wabash River Bluegrass Music Camp on June 7-9 in Grayville, IL. at her family's farm. Please watch the weekly reminders for more information. WEATHER POLICY: The Main Stage will close whenever Robertson and Rutherford County Schools close for inclement weather. Please tune in to your favorite weather channel for closing information. You will be contacted by phone & e-mail if the decision is made to override the school's. We will incorporate five (5) built-in snow days this year, meaning, if we close 5 days this winter due to snow & ice, tuition will not be adjusted and make-ups will not be scheduled.
